An application which helps its users find roommates and apartments in Tel- Aviv without using the services of a real estate company or brokers.
It helps apartment owners publish their properties and matches landlords and renters in an easy, convenient and quick way.
The Problem
Finding an apartment and roommates in Tel-Aviv is a difficult process
for all those who search for apartments,
it is a tiring procedure which causes despair and hopelessness.
The demand for apartments is high when compared to the number of available apartments within the market, and many apartments “fall through” the searching process and are taken before someone has even had the chance to view them.

The “Tinder of real estate”, apartments for rent and sale.
The platforms is built in a way that allows users to choose an area and immediately be exposed to relevant apartments. They can swipe right if they are interested in a specific apartment or left if they are not. The applications assist real estate brokers and does not provide solutions for the roommate finding difficulties in Tel-Aviv.
Nester:
An application for apartment searching that does not involve brokerage services and can be used within
numerous cities- from Eilat to Netanya.
The interface’s pros are that it is well designed and convenient to use, it is possible to search by using a map and does not involve real estate brokers. The cons are that the filtration options are very limited and the maximal price is 8,000, which is irrelevant for many apartments in Tel-Aviv.

The problem:
Guy works during most hours of the day and therefore has no time to look for apartments within Facebook groups or Yad2. Moreover, apartments are very expensive and consequently he is looking for a roommate who can share the rent.
The Solution:
Using the app, Guy describes his desired apartment and roommate in details, and shortly after received automatic messages regarding apartments that could interest him, he replied to the most relevant messages and found the most suitable apartment and roommate for him.

The application automatically offers apartments\ roommates according to what has been pre-defined by the user. The application’s users will be given priority when it comes to viewing the apartments before everyone else, read property reviews and receive further details and information about each apartment\ roommate.

First, the user is exposed to the Onboarding screen, which contains a short explanation about the app.
Afterwards, the user signs up and is asked to provide a description of the apartment they are looking for, so that the application receives the most accurate information and will be able to answer the user’s needs accordingly.

After I defined the application’s objectives and completed most of the Wireframes,
I started thinking about the design.
I started by setting the application’s tone and sensation. I chose a pretty clean and clear design for the sake of a pleasant search process. I started with a series of graphic illustrations for the Onboarding and the waiting screens and then started designing the buttons, icons, fonts and colors.

Search Process
The user can search for an apartment through a vast filter which enables a quicker search.
One the user clicks an apartment’s page, they can see all the apartment’s details, close by public transportation routes and parking lots, roommates, reviews and more. Furthermore, there is a payment option which grants the user a priority for a specific apartment, and consequently they will be able to view the apartment before everyone else.

When the application receives data concerning the type of apartment the user is looking for, it automatically sends messages regarding relevant apartments.
