The Project
The Problem
The brand is an online trading platform and brokerage company that offers access to various financial instruments, including Forex, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrencies.
The platform provides users with educational resources, market analysis, and diverse account options, catering to traders and investors with varying experience levels.
The problem at hand centers on the inaccessibility and user-unfriendliness of the trading platform, particularly for individuals needing a background in commerce or finance.
This issue is further exacerbated by the conservative nature of the trading world, which can intimidate people without prior knowledge and instill fear of engaging in commerce. The challenge is to design solutions that create a more inclusive, approachable, and user-friendly trading platform that empowers and educates users, regardless of their prior experience, ultimately bridging the gap and mitigating these issues.

User Persona

Name: Nir
Age: 34
Profession: Software Engineer
The problem:
Nir lacks a background in commerce or finance and has a fear of engaging in trading due to the conservative nature of the trading world. He finds it challenging to navigate the complexities of trading platforms, and he feels overwhelmed by the technical jargon and the pressure to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. As a result, he's hesitant to start investing and fears making costly mistakes.
The Solution:
Nir needs a user-friendly trading platform, designed with a focus on accessibility and education. The platform should provide clear and simple explanations of financial concepts and trading options, along with interactive resources to help him learn. Additionally, it should offer a demo account to allow him to practice trading without financial risk. He would also benefit from a supportive community or customer service that can address his questions and concerns, making him feel more confident and secure in his trading journey.

The Solution
The accessibility and user-friendliness issues of the trading platform have been successfully addressed, resulting in an improved experience for users:
User-Friendly Interface:
The platform now boasts an intuitive and visually appealing user interface with a straightforward layout, making it easy for users to navigate and use with confidence.
Interactive Chatbot Support:
The integrated chatbot offers real-time assistance, effectively addressing common user queries and providing explanations and information about trading-related topics.
Guided Onboarding with Popups:
The implementation of a step-by-step onboarding process, featuring popups that guide users on what to do and when, has made it easier for new users to get started and learn about key platform features and trading concepts.
Transparent Buttons with Explanations:
Buttons and actions are now clearly labeled, with concise explanations provided regarding potential outcomes, risks, and potential profits when users
interact with them.
Demo Account:
The addition of a demo account with virtual funds allows users to practice trading without financial risk, building their confidence and experience.
Segmentation into Trading Types:
The platform is now divided into clearly defined sections for various trading types, such as currencies, commodities, bitcoins, and shares, making it easier for users to focus on their preferred trading options.
Educational Academy:
The online academy within the platform provides a wealth of resources, including articles, videos, and webinars, empowering users with knowledge about trading and finance, and enabling them to make informed decisions.
User flow
User flow maps help me, as a UX designer, visualize and optimize the user's journey, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience. By analyzing user flows,
I can identify potential pain points, streamline interactions, and ultimately create a more user-friendly and satisfying product.

Wireframes
I began the build process of the application by conducting user research and exploring user experiences. This involved gathering insights into user needs, preferences, and behaviors. Following the research phase, I moved on to constructing a wireframe for the application. The wireframe served as the skeletal structure, outlining the basic layout and functionality, and acted as a blueprint for the user interface.

The Design
In designing the platform stock market trading, I opted for a palette of bright and pleasant colors to convey a sense of trust, confidence, and calmness.
The choice of soothing colors aimed to create an environment that fosters a feeling of security and assurance for users navigating the complexities of stock trading. Buttons were designed to be user-friendly with a modern aesthetic, and the use of clear, concise text maintained an emphasis on readability. The overall goal was to strike a balance between a welcoming, secure atmosphere and a sleek, professional design.
